Becoming a tech-driven telco demands a new operating model
A new white paper from TM Forum and Accenture draws on interviews with C-level executives from some of the world’s biggest telcos to explore how and why communications service providers (CSPs) are building a new operating model.
Covid-19 has demonstrated society’s reliance on communications infrastructure and is encouraging many enterprises to accelerate digital transformation. CSPs, however, have not been the biggest financial winners from the huge growth in digital platform usage by businesses and consumers.
CSPs understand the urgent need to move beyond selling traditional connectivity to providing customers (both B2C and B2B2x) with platform-based products and services as part of a wide digital ecosystem. But reinvention is challenging particularly in the fragmented telecoms sector, and many CSPs are still searching for the value beyond connectivity to unlock growth.
TM Forum and Accenture have partnered to explore the latest thinking around telco transformation through a series of interviews with C-level executives from some of the world’s largest CSPs. A new white paper, The tech-driven telco, reveals their insights and recommendations for riding the next wave of change.
The document provides a blueprint for making successful operational and technological transformation using TM Forum Open Digital Architecture to shift to an open, modern, software-based architecture that is cloud native and AI ready to meet market demands. Download it by clicking the image below.
