Catalyst Awards recognize global sweep of industry innovation
TM Forum’s 2021 Catalyst awards recognized innovative solutions to some of the biggest challenges facing the industry and broader society on the closing day of Digital Transformation World Series.
Over the last year, more than 500 people in 151 TM Forum member companies worldwide collaborated to develop proof-of-concepts of creative ideas to improve how communications service providers (CSPs) and their technology partners do business, innovate and serve customers amid rapid digital transformation.
The new solutions they are developing span artificial intelligence, sustainability, cross-industry 5G services, smart cities, marketplaces and platforms.
A panel of 20 independent judges chose the winning Catalysts projects across nine areas from 22 shortlisted projects in recognition of their contributions to advancing the telecoms industry, their acceleration of digital transformation, their work on standards and their impact on global sustainability goals.
Throughout the past 18 months, the tech communications industry has mastered the challenge to keep the world connected. This meant to overcome a multitude of obstacles to ensure success for customers. We were extremely impressed by the incredible standard of the demonstrations and true innovation throughout the Catalyst projects this year,” said Steffen Roehn, Chairman of TM Forum and Partner of Bain & Company.
