Digital ecosystems: setting new standards for integration
The term “ecosystem” hardly does justice to the complex technical issues and considerations that CSPs face as they consider their role in future connected ICT ecosystems. Networks become more complex, and carrier-to-carrier interoperability becomes more difficult. Moreover, as CSPs deploy 5G networks and edge computing they need to consider how to serve customers whose geographical footprints do not match their own.
Operators must find a more efficient way to integrate if they want to achieve an ecosystem and make sure that the new connectivity capabilities get adopted by those companies building future digital services and applications for the enterprise.
In this webinar, we will assess the work being undertaken within standards organizations, TM Forum and MEF to enable the integration of services such as Ethernet LAN and beyond. We will also review how to ensure that emerging services such as connectivity enabled by edge computing are made widely available to enterprise customers spanning the breadth of their businesses.
