Tatis points out that discussions about artificial intelligence (AI) often quickly shift to data, which shows telcos now fully understand the importance of data for scaling AI. There is more focus across the industry on breaking down data silos and taking stock of data assets.
With the rise of GenAI, he says one of the effects is that the speed of innovation has increased. And he shares that part of Telus’s approach to GenAI has been to equip everyone in the company with the tools to innovate safely and responsibly.
