KDDI improves AI accuracy, optimistic about intent and AN

The Japanese communications service provider (CSP), KDDI, is taking a multi-pronged approach to developing AI solutions both for internal use and for its customers, including through involvement in TM Forum Catalysts.

Tomohiro Otani, Deputy GM and Executive VP, KDDI Corporation and KDDI Research, joined Nik Willetts, CEO, TM Forum, to discuss how the Japanese operator is making use of AI and intent.

Otani shares some of the steps KDDI has been taking to make its AI operations more accurate through improvements to data management. He also outlines why he is optimistic about the industry’s ability to develop autonomous networks.
