CSPs need a blueprint to get to highly autonomous networks

In this video, Huawei’s Ken Lu, President of General Development Department, and TM Forum’s Dean Ramsay, Principal Analyst and Head of Research, discuss a recently published report, Autonomous networks: Level 4 industry blueprint, which highlights the telecoms industry’s efforts to get to Level 4 autonomous networks (ANs).

Based on TM Forum’s definition, Level 4 ANs mark the transition between traditional automation of human-defined process behavior and autonomous behavior, where systems make decisions independent of humans.

This report “is a new milestone, which brings forward the AN Level 4 industry blueprint for the first time and provides systematic methodology for carriers to move to Level 4,” says Lu.
