Future enterprise billing

The enterprise market opportunity is driving many telecoms operators’ strategies for, and investments in, 5G. But will their billing systems have the capabilities required to exploit the 5G opportunity? Today many operators’ enterprise billing systems are more in need of transformations than their consumer ones. Deciding on future requirements is extremely difficult given that the new services that telecoms operators will offer have yet to be defined. As such, operators need to retain maximum flexibility but, at the same time, ensure that they are ready to monetize new services as soon as the commercial model becomes clear.
