Quick Talk: Veteran CTO discusses why telco transformation succeeds - and fails

Adan Pope, chief technology officer (CTO) of Intrado, has spent more than 20 years as a technology leader in the telecoms industry, having started his career at Bell Labs. He later went on to be part of the leadership team that sold Telcordia to Ericsson and has also held senior technology roles at Amdocs and Ciena.

He drew on his extensive experience of managing through periods of technology and business change to co-author the book 'Respect the Weeds', which looks at what makes digital transformation succeed – and fail.
