Spark’s cloud strategy highlights the importance of the right partner
Harshvendra Soin, President Asia Pacific & Japan Business at Tech Mahindra, introduces Nilay Rathod, Chapter Area Lead, GM – Group Architecture & IT at Spark, CSP from New Zealand. Tech Mahindra is working with Spark to implement its hybrid cloud.
Rathod explains that cloud transformation about migration and leveraging cloud’s capabilities, and that there are four main drivers. The first is to scale some IT services with Tech Mahindra helping to modernize and cloudify them.
It also wants a composable IT stack on the cloud layer to gain agility and achieve faster to market, and to build a customer experience layer integrated with AI to become more personalized. The third motivation is a scalable, secure cloud platform to innovate around customer experience and the fourth is to develop advanced use cases like public cloud bursting to meet dynamic demand for network services.
Soin asked Rathod how Spark is boosting adoption, streamlining operations and creating new value streams for customers? Rathod gave examples of AIOps for digital automated processes in cloud operation. He also cited AI-driven software development lifecycle (SDLC) services in cloud to reduce the time to market for new features using microservice architecture or Open Digital Architecture (ODA).
