Huawei O&M SP

This session is a formal publication ceremony of a joint whitepaper newly created by TM Forum, Huawei, and influential global Communication Service Providers. 

During the session, stakeholders will share their thoughts, outlooks and practices on CSP operation transformation, highlighting key learnings from currently active transformation projects.

Transforming existing models across all layers of operations requires a complex, systematic framework of integrating full-scale capabilities in Technology, Process, Platform and People.  Certain transformational paths are becoming clear for elements of this framework, but a more overarching strategy is needed for large, mature CSPs with not only significant network infrastructure modernizations but also vast investments in new digital technologies.

Referencing real-world cases studies of the progressive CSPs, the whitepaper looks at best practices for transformation from Network-centric to Service-centric operations, analyses the current state of play, pragmatically assesses what is possible from this transformational drive, outlines the route to success, and touches on the requirements to support CSPs to embrace evolving business challenges in the 5G and digital era.
