How CSPs can leverage AI’s promise of everything, all at once, everywhere
The pace of technology is “stunning,” says Robin Cole, VP of Engineering at Microsoft; “it feels like everything, all at once, and everywhere.” Microsoft is helping customers take advantage of advancement while keeping innovation the core of their activities through Hyper Velocity Engineering.
This pairs the hypervelocity of AI innovation with hypervelocity engineering to unlock value much quicker, without sacrificing engineering fundamentals like security.
There are three components to this approach: smaller, multidisciplinary teams with domain expertise; making AI agents and tooling available for everybody; and solution accelerators.
Moving beyond contact center use cases, people are starting to leverage AI by building use cases on top of platforms, such as Microsoft’s Azure Open AI, drive efficiency throughautonomous operations.
For innovation, most are looking at AI to optimize business models or create new ones, forexample using Vibe coding that enables non-coders to express their business ideas like an engineer. This means smaller sets of people can become multi-disciplinary, adding elements like marketing and customer experience to a process that used to be pure coding.
