Communication service providers (CSPs) are focused on applying AI and ML in ways that enable them to either save money or make money, primarily in the areas of customer experience, operational efficiency, and revenue generation opportunities, said Hitesh Morar, Chief Product Officer at Tecnotree. Most CSPs are in the early stages of learning how the technology can be applied to meet their business goals, but some of the larger telco groups have started to implement AI use cases and the next 12 to 18 months will be exciting for AI adoption.
