Meet the winners: Companies recognized for digital services innovation

At TM Forum’s Excellence Awards at TM Forum Live! last week, member companies were recognized for  their contribution to the evolution of the communications industry and digital business.

The winners in the Open Digital Ecosystem category were chosen for demonstrating the most innovative services or solutions for establishing new digital services, and contributing to an open digital ecosystem. Here are the winners in that category:

Huawei technologies: Digital inCloud Solution

(TM Forum Open Digital Ecosystem Award)

Huawei’s Digital inCloud is an end-to-end ICT solution that helps mobile operators build a digital ecosystem to increase their revenue by transforming them from CSPs to digital service providers and expanding their domains from individuals to new digital businesses (home, enterprise and industry).

Mr Kang Ning, Vice President, Digital Services Product Line, Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, is interviewed here about how Huawei is looking to further co-ordinate and partner with operators through TM Forum.

BT PLC: BT Compute

(TM Forum Open Digital Ecosystem Award)

Compute Management System (CMS) enables the rapid construction and operation of digital ecosystems. CMS now underpins some of BT’s most innovative offerings including IoT/Smart Cities, BT for Life Sciences and BT Trace/Logistics, while enabling a growing range of go-to-market and channel partner initiatives.

John P. Wittgreffe, Chief Researcher, BT Group PLC, explains more about the platform and the value that TM Forum has added, particularly through the Catalyst program.

DGIT: Telflow

(TM Forum Open Digital Ecosystem Award – Smart Innovator)

Telflow is a next-generation service delivery platform for application, infrastructure and communications service providers (CSPs) to rapidly manage growth, change and complexity across the IT ecosystem.

Greg Tilton, Chairman & CTO, DGIT Systems, explains more about the platform and the role of Frameworx in bringing the product to market.
