During the past decade, global telecoms revenue has remained mostly flat, and no change is in sight. Revenue growth over the past couple of years has hovered around 1%, and the forecast is similar for 2022. At the same time, communications service providers (CSPs) are under tremendous pressure to invest in new technologies and transform their businesses to become more like hyperscale cloud providers, delivering on-demand, digital services and experiences at scale.
