Start-ups display innovative solutions to telco business problems at DTW
This year at Digital Transformation World (DTW) TM Forum is helping communications service providers (CSPs) and technology suppliers source innovative solutions to their business problems through its Next20 startup program.
The Next20 program provides a forum to start-ups that are developing new technologies to solve some of the most pressing issues facing the telecoms industry. In addition to exhibiting their solutions at DTW start-ups will pitch them to a jury of experts at DTW, which takes place from 20-22 September 2022 in Copenhagen.
One key focus for TM Forum members is the development of a cloud native network that enables zero-touch automation. With this in mind, solutions on display from start-ups aim to address issues ranging from how to leverage network-as-a-service (NaaS) and the effective use of cloud-based microservices architecture through to 5G network slicing at scale and the management and orchestration of services across multiple autonomous domains.
There will also be solutions to the important issue of managing and extracting value from data to deploy AL/ML at scale.
Revenue growth is also at the forefront of CSPs’ concerns. When it comes to seizing and developing enterprise opportunities, start-ups at DTW will be displaying new services at the edge, as well as delivery capabilities.
And as environment, social and governance (ESG) reporting becomes an increasingly important requirement for stakeholders ranging from investors through to customers, the Next20 startup program showcases ways to help make our industry a leader in the implementation of ESG.
