Aaron Boasman – Vice President, Content, Research & Media
Aaron Boasman is responsible for content across TM Forum’s research portfolio, the digital content platform, Inform, as well as leading content and research across the events and Digital Leadership Summits portfolio, including TM Forum Live! This is fed back to the Collaboration team to help drive the Forum’s strategic direction and collaborative program.
He has chaired many international conferences and delivered presentations on smart cities, customer centricity, Internet of Everything, industry developments, market trends and strategy. Aaron has worked in the telecoms and associated industries for over ten years. He graduated with an M.A. (Oxon) from the University of Oxford. Aaron specializes in:

Mark Newman – Chief Analyst, Research & Media
Mark Newman is an analyst with 25 years’ experience delivering insights on the future of the telecoms sector to senior level executives and audiences. Mark was Chief Research Officer at Informa Telecoms & Media and Ovum and then went on to set up his own research firm, ConnectivityX, in 2016, before joining TM Forum in February 2017.
He delivers analysis, presentations, strategy sessions and workshops to global audiences, helping them to plan for the changes in technology and disruptive new business models that will fundamentally transform their businesses. Mark’s recent areas of research have focused on:
- – Telecoms operator business models;
- – Digital transformation;
- – Service provider diversification; and
- – The intersection between internet and telecoms.
Annie Turner – Senior Director, Research & Media
Annie Turner has been researching and writing about telecoms since liberalization began in the 1980s. She was editor of business-to-business publications with International Thomson and The Economist Group, among others. During her long stint as a freelance, she frequently wrote for the International Herald Tribune and The [London] Times, as well as being an ad hoc contributor to many more national and international newspapers.
She also ran hundreds of media training and messaging workshops, undertook various research projects, wrote white papers, multifarious articles and ghosted speeches for eminent people.
She has worked full-time for TM forum since 2010, overseeing the research portfolio and Inform content platform. Annie’s areas of special interest are:

Dawn Bushaus – Managing Editor, Research & Media
Dawn Bushaus began her career in technology journalism in 1989 at Telephony magazine, which means she’s been writing about networking for almost 30 years.
In 1996, Dawn joined a team of journalists to start a McGraw-Hill publication called tele.com, and in 2000, she helped a team at Ziff-Davis launch The Net Economy, where she held senior writing and editing positions. Prior to joining TM Forum in August 2013, Dawn worked as a freelance analyst for Heavy Reading. Dawn’s areas of interest are:

- – Automation;
- – Platforms;
- – Artificial intelligence; and
- – 5G.
