Enterprise {open}:hack – where telco services, IoE and big data converge

For communications service providers, platform business models are key to growth, and when combined with internet of everything (IoE) applications and big data can enable new business opportunities.

TM Forum’s enterprise {open}:hack, which will be held May 14-16 in conjunction with our flagship TM Forum Live! event in Nice, France, will expose telco network capabilities for the first time, along with customer management, big data and IoE capabilities to provide an innovation platform. This platform will allow for quick exploration and creation of new enterprise-grade business models.

TM Forum along with our partners, Huawei, Salesforce and Vodafone, invite enterprise developers, solution architects, data scientists, university student developers and entrepreneurs to get their creative juices flowing at the hack. The idea is to explore new business models and disruptive ideas to rapidly mash together technology, leveraging different data sources and application program interfaces (APIs) from a host of companies in a telco platform of innovation.

This is a great opportunity for developers to learn how to use TM Forum Open APIs. Participants will receive an {open}:hack Academy certificate as well as an opportunity to win up to $10,000 worth of prizes.

If Open APIs are part of your development strategy, attending this event is a must – since it’s held in conjunction with TM Forum Live!, teams will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to 3,000 executive attendees from around the globe.
